MARCUS: When I moved to Chelsea I lived in Milmans Street on the Cremorne Estate. A friend of mine was living there and I stayed with him for a little while and then got my own flat through the council. The flat was expensive. I shared it with a friend and his girlfriend. It became too expensive so I moved to Earls Court to live near Nevern Square in Notting Hill Housing. They wanted to enlarge the flat for a family so they gave me a choice of flats. One was in Earls Court, high up above the station so the flat vibrated when the trains went by. The other was in Chesterton Road, so I came here.
